MAGA MA hot-water boilers are intended for heating homes (such as apartments, family houses, suites, townhouses) and smaller industrial buildings (manufacturing shop floors).
These boilers are designed exclusively to burn wood/briquettes. Any dry wood such as chopped logs or wood chips with maximum length of 500 mm can be used as fuel for this type of boiler. It is also possible to use damp wood, however one has to count on a little extra fuel consumption. Untreated wood waste such as sawdust, splinters or small chips may also be used, but this type of fuel should at all times be combined with whole wood pieces. Logs with larger diameters can be used as well. If so done, the boiler’s rated output capacity will decrease and the period of burning will extend.
A large wood storage bin will help replace and eliminate the most laborious operations associated with the preparation of wood fuel – i.e. the sawing and cutting of logs into pieces of an appropriate size. This practice will save not only physical exertion, but also time necessary for the work. Approximately 1-2 % of the amount of the wood burnt in a boiler will be deposited in the form of ash into the ash disposal area (which should therefore be cleaned once or twice a week). Taking into account the low emission of harmful substances, the operation of this type of boilers is a significant contribution to improving the environment.
The hot water boilers MAGA PU are intended to provide comfortable and economical heating with the use of solid fuel. Due to their modern construction our boilers offer easy maintenance comparable to gas powered boilers.
They require only 5 minutes of attended operation per day. The boiler is welded from 5 mm thick steel sheets with pipe ( tubular ) exchanger. Retort burner is built into the side at bottom of the boiler with cast iron grid into which the solid fuel is delivered with the help of conveyor from storage bin.
The solid fuel storage bin is placed next to the boiler and is included in delivery.
The boiler has built in central electronic control unit – regulator, which automaticaly controls the entire operation of the boiler.
During the winter time a full storage bin of fuel will last between 3 to 5 days at average output, during the summer time when preparing TUV, attended operation is required only once in 7 to 10 days.
